In 1429 Jeanne d’Arc an illiterate farm girl convinced a couple of soldiers to escort her some 250 km, half of which was through hostile occupied territory, to talk with the uncrowned king of a faltering regime and divided kingdom

She then went on to galvanise the kings army to the extent that what had largely been a dynastic squabble became a war of national identity and unification and although treated cautiously by her own side except for her adoring soldiers,and hated as a witch / heretic by her English opponents, Jeanne briefly illuminated all those around her and had a profoundly long-lasting impact on her country.

Is it drawing too long a bow to suggest that the 16 year old Swede, Greta Thunberg is having a similar, though world-wide impact in the C21st?

Recently it was interesting to note that for once a Sydney professor of climate science has stuck his head above the parapet of his Ivory Tower and called The Happy-Clapping-Bogan-Liar-From-The-Shire, prime miniature, Scummo’s climate “policy” for what it was. Bullshit!

Akin to Thunberg’s deliciously blunt speech to the United Nations which has seriously riled those automata of “the right” by succinctly pointing out that their authoritarian destructiveness toward the planet in the pursuit of profit is futile if mankind is to have a future, people now seem freer to simply express their alarm at the mess being perpetuated for future generations.

As the climate tipping point is being reached so too, it seems, is the level of disquiet by the masses of young who are now ripe for what could be revolutionary action in order to wrest control from those lukewarm politicians, lying media propagandists and the corporate criminals responsible for ignoring the facts that scientists have been consistently putting in front of us for 50 years.

Spouting their unintelligent conformity to IPA, Murdoch, The Ugly American and Koch bros. denialism and piling in to viciously attack Thunberg has not only resulted in fully exposing how threadbare their arguments are (and have always been) but also how little they are doing and unproductive they are in addressing the existential threat facing us.

In recognising the very real threat that the honest plain speaking of the young Swede inspires for change out came the usual cabal of character assassins, not singly as is usual but en masse which has had quite the opposite effect to what they were probably hoping for. They drew attention, all too clearly, not to any error in Thurnberg’s pronouncements but only to their own elitist narcissism and malignant aggression in having only one mode of action; destruction.

London Toilet-boy,Jones, The Oh-So Superior, Goward, The Idiot Red Terror of The Deep North, The Deflated Sherrin, Newman, Il Patrone Vanstone and other sundry over-entitled egos all came out swinging, thrashing wildly against the 16 year old truth teller but to no avail… they recognise in their shrivelled, fossilised hearts they are wrong, and en masse, it showed in their sadistic, worn out vitriol.

Scummo, the pentacostal and twice failed advertising apparatchik, now prime miniature, ignored her speech at the United Nations and inspected some new Macca's tecnology  but neatly projected his own reality and accused her of spreading anxiety amongst the young. The young who have no future. 
No future in education, jobs, home ownership or most importantly that the planet will remain habitable during their lifetime.

Thurnberg doesn’t create anxiety she only recognises and expresses its existence.

Whichever way you look at this, change is coming .............and the Ruling Rabble know and fear it.....
