G'day Possums, there's been another Autumn Festival in Ballan 

So following will be a selection of images from an event which seems to be growing each year.

For those three who regularly follow this blog you will see the same little "Pug" in the same truck for the fourth year in a row... and the dogs were again out in force and very well behaved but there was one piece of nasty... at the beginning as I was photographing some material being set up I was roundly abused for "taking photo's on private property" and  was also told in no uncertain terms that "...we have our own face-book photographer so delete those images, NOW". I complied but then... I do have a file recovery program... but to keep things discreet will show no material that might offer the rudeness in question any publicity,advertising or recognition...

The head of the Australian Securities Exchange, Elmer Funke Kupper, has quit his $3.5 million a year job over allegations that he knew of a $200,000 payment to the family of Cambodian strongman prime minister Hun Sen.The $200,000 payment was made when Mr Funke Kupper was chief executive of gaming giant Tabcorp and is now the focus of an international anti-bribery investigation led by the Australian Federal Police. ASX chairman Rick Holliday-Smith announced the resignation late on Monday as it emerged Mr Funke Kupper was personally the subject of the investigation and was explicitly warned against making the payment, but walked away with a multi-million dollar handshake.

This happened as Truffles Turdball was venting about the 100's and 100's of crimes in the construction industry. There were no crimes, nor were there 948 workplace breaches.  All up there were only 36 proceedings brought in 2014/15, of which only 12 were successful. Despite all of this being in the public domain, it still suits the Liarbrils to repeat these lies and have the whole frame being faithfully reported as fact in "The Ugly-American's" propaganda sheet, The Australian. At the moment out of the 30 odd charges emanating  from this $80,000,000.00 Royal Commission around a dozen have been dropped as lacking evidence.

Mafia figures donated tens of thousands of dollars to the discredited NSW Liberal Party fundraising vehicle, the Millennium Forum, as part of an ultimately successful campaign to allow a known criminal to stay in Australia.

A senior Millennium Forum figure, who is already under investigation by ICAC for allegedly funnelling illegal developer donations to the NSW Liberal Party, also helped criminal Frank Madafferi's lawyer meet then immigration minister Philip Ruddock on the visa issue.

It would seem that now the Coots-With-Queer-Ideas-From-a-Parallel-Universe have two of their acolytes infecting the Federal Parliament. These missionary's of the feudal system have hit the ground running with all sorts of socially and excitably juvenile theory on how a feudal system should operate under the rule of their Lords and Ladies, Rupert and Gina.

Jamie "Sprat" Paterson kicked of the "return-to-the-middle-ages"  scenario when he opined that the wealthy exclusive education of a private school meant more social cohesion than the public system. Countless studies have indicated that the public system actually produces better tertiary results for its students and that broadening the intake base to university is a benefit to social cohesion. But then Jamie "the Sprat" is not one who sees socialism and a co-operative society as a viable political and economical model for  the likes of his ambitious ilk to prosper in. His other IPA partner in crimes against the social fabric is Timmy, ex-Liarbil- ex -IPA- ex-Freedom-Commissioner-"The Twat," Wilson now foregoing $400,000.00 P.A. ( which many of the public saw this as a complete waste of taxpayer's money) , said he "...has been humbled" by his two (2)  vote ascendency to the safe Liarbril seat of Goldstein ( what Timmy Twat really meant is that he thought that all should  just love him just because... because, because... Timmy is just so, so, so ,so.....  lovable....)  but he  has re-iterated one of his core beliefs :  that government should not pay for social institutions.. ...except for himself and the welfare of the charity base of the IPA.......!   Timmy Twat is expected to stay in parliament for many years until he leaves with a tax-payer-funded pension.

In an interview with The Guardian, he said the slogan had to be “funny but still believable” ... “hollow and oxymoronic.”  “We needed it to ... say absolutely nothing but seem to have depth and meaning. It couldn’t be too daft though. “It did make me laugh a lot when I saw that the Australian PM’s people had been on the same mental journey and come up with the same meaningless phrase.”

Change with Continuity really defines what headspace these mongrel's are in.

The Prime Minister did not escape ridicule from parliamentary colleagues. Labor’s defence spokesman David Feeney wrote: “Turnbull is using slogan ‘continuity with change’ because ‘dithering and do nothing’ bombed with focus groups.”

Shadow Attorney-General Mark Dreyfus wrote: “Turnbull’s laughable new three-word slogan (is) ‘continuity with change’. Veep did it first and didn’t pretend it was real, Prime Minister.”

Hmmm.. It's becoming a Mantach of a year for poor old Truffles….bashes unions and the Head of the Asx has to stand down for bribery allegations, … says company tax should decrease and ATO releases details of all those same companies NOT paying any tax….criticizes Billy Shortstuff for his Negative Gearing policy and Electoral Office freeze $4.4 millions, apparently given by developers allegedly illegally through Arfur "Da Spiv" Sinodinas…. sounds more like the slogan should be Business as Usual!  Interviewed on Lateline, his Gethsemane, Truffles sounded wounded and tired, like someone who had used all their  energy  and imagination and had now run out of puff and was hollow. Remarkably similar to how  Keating described him all those years ago:  "...a bit of a fizz and then nothing!"

Vile, incompetent and full of hate, this ruling rabble have almost destroyed a country that has so much potential. The real national discussion really needs to be about where we would like to see ourselves in 20-50 years..... not in this small-minded, unimaginative space where we have become: the white trash of Asia!

The Greens have consigned themselves to the dustbin of history by siding with the Liarbrils over the anti-democratic "reforms" to the Senate voting system. It has assured that the Liarbrils will probably maintain full control over the senate and will be able to legislate, unchecked. Like the Democrats who caved in to the Liarbrils on the GST and then were eliminated from parliament, the Greens will go the same way.

I've yet to see a straight-forward explanation of what the new voting system will be like beyond only numbering 1-6 above the line ... I don't know what happens below the line but I think next election, if the double dissolution is called, I'll be spending a long time marking every candidate below the  line... no matter how long it takes.

This ruling rabble is not about government in the old sense but is  implementing the IPA's right-wing "Free-Market" agenda  that there will be no escape from.

It is a recipe for social and democratic disaster as the poor fund the rich in a latter-day version of the feudal system.

The rioting Sudanese and Islander boys last weekend in Melbourne are but a small example of what lies ahead if the ruling rabble maintain power.

In NSW fines have been increased and you could face 7 years gaol for demonstrating against GSG . At the same time penalties for illegal prospecting have been reduced to a pin prick.

The ACL front man looks extremely uncomfortable when questioned as to where his "advice" goes....do we really need this marginalized  right-wing, xtian B/S  to take any further hold on what was once a relatively sane society?

RWNJ's  in the Liarbril party are getting all worked up about an anti-bullying program in schools. It is specific to support for LBGT children and the fat oaf from the Deep North, George Christensen with backing from "Bestiality" Bernardi and "Vichy" Abetz and Kevin "Capt Catlic" Andrews have been spewing their bile about "Marxist ideology",  "Grooming for Paedophilia"... even Rabid-the-Hun has had another crack; but in typical Liarbril fashion this is not about the program but  really an attack on "Truffles' authority." He's kow-towing to the lowest common denominator and they are being empowered.

Another of Abbott's brilliant appointments bites the dust: Michael Lawler, Kathy Jackson's partner has resigned his $400,000.00 p.a. position as workplace relations commissioner after not putting forward a defence of his nine months paid sick leave to support Jackson in the enquiry into trade union corruption where it seems that Jackson herself might be the only one with real "form."

Remember Rabid-the-Hun lauding Jackson as a beacon of quality in the union movement as she stitched up Craig Thompson over his misuse of $25,000.00 of union funds?

Well she's being investigated over allegedly rorting $1,250,000.00!

It has been widely reported that Rabid-the-Hun in another demonstration of "No sniping" has leaked a Defence "White Paper" to embarrass Truffles Turnbull. Apart from the "loose cannon" methodology, the ruling rabble again demonstrates its appallingly juvenile approach to leading a country and a completely arrogant disdain of service to the nation.

The Australian’s foreign editor Greg "Toady" Sheridan, the author of the report from Rupert "The Ugly American" Murdoch's propaganda sheet, and an Abbott loyalist from Rabid's wall thumping student days , said in a fiercely inappropriate defense that ­Abbott was not his source.... or Capt Catlic Andrews... it was a little birdie.... and it is perfectly OK for the Liarbrils to play around leaking secret documents for personal political purposes.

Even Nikki Savva, hardly a cheer-leader for the left has weighed in with a book co-authored with Laurie Oakes: "The Road to Ruin. How Abbott and Credlin destroyed a Government."  Detailing the complete dysfunction of the first two years of this rabble's rule, much is being made of the "intimacy" between the two and its subsequent alienation of minister and backbencher alike.

That "Bloody Idiot Credlin" opined when asked to resign her position that:  "He couldn't do the job without me," only further indicates the level of this alarmingly evil man's incompetence.  

More evidence of a  mongrel ruling rabble's behaviour which is as tawdry to each other as it is to the country should surprise no-one and further, that the rats are turning on each other on the sinking rust-bucket, SS Liarbril is not surprising either.

This is the IPA dream, a  Free Market and Free Enterprise in action....!

Then there was the farce of treasurer Mk2, "The Drone" Morrison working himself up in a lather over Labor's plan to reduce negative gearing on homes by referring to of a BIS Shrapnel study.

Oops... the report was commissioned BEFORE Labor released it's policy; was not specifically aimed at it; and was full of errors! More incompetence from this policy free, ruling rabble!

The Greens have decided to "do-a-Democrat" and support the ruling rabble with changes to the Senate voting system; a move which will effectively eliminate the minor parties and entrench the Liarbrils as having control of the Senate in perpetuity.

As that worked out so well for the Democrats after Meg Lees supported the Liarbrils bringing in the GST, where in a few years they were wiped out as an alternative party, it's difficult to fathom why the Greens are also hell bent on self-immolation. But it does mean we'll have to be more assiduous in how we cast our vote in the Senate this time around.
