G'day Possums,

"How good is Gladys?" The Hypocritical Happy-Clapper, Liar from the Shire and Pentacostal prime miniature du jour celebrated loudly on his surprise election win.

How good indeed?

Well, not very, as we shall see as she was quickly elevated to a status as one of the newest members of The Ruling Rabble to be in company as worthy as Rolex Roberts, Barnyard Joyce, Water-gate Taylor, Little-to-be-Proud-of and Landlord Ley: all due in part to this woman's dubious in the extreme connections to the Chinese Communist Party.

The East is Red

Touted as "...an energetic member of her local community..." but unfortunately not specifying which "community", Australia or mainland China, Ms Liu spent almost as much time attempting to gain pre-selection to the Ruling Rabble as it took to build The Great Wall, along the way becoming a very significant fundraiser for the Rabble with some very interesting "friends" only too willing to shell out much moolah for what seemed very little return. 

But what has piqued the interest of some, particularly ASIO is the number and type of Chinese organizations like the Guangdong provincial chapter of the China Overseas Exchange Association - which at the time was part of China's powerful State Council, the Chinese government's central political and administrative body as well as dozen or more other entities involved in trade and cultural pursuits which Beijing uses to promote and leverage their interests.

"Nothing-to-see-here.." roared The Not-so-Happy-Clapping  Scummo as he mangled the truth in defence of his new chosen one, (or is that a two seat majority?) St Peter-like, thrice denying that he's been as racist as he was accusing others as being by calling disgraced Too-Tricky Dastyari, "Shanghai Sam"... ever, at all, nup, not me, noooooo ... look-over -there,look-over -there!

Ms Liu's oddly twisted face, (it looks, front-on as if it's in single point perspective. The sight lines of eyes and mouth disappearing off at an angle to the appropriate "left" horizon at infinity) crumpled into tears in parliament at Scummo's blustering vindication of her rather tainted character. 

A character besmirched not only by her associations but more importantly by her woefully dishonest and lying political advertising which will be the subject of a High Court ruling which just might nullify her 1000 vote election win and make the pentacostal Scummo poop himself. Another Engadine moment?

As a corollary to what Scummo would say is this "racist" rant, it's interesting to note that the Chinese wish to purchase for $1.5 Billion a Tassie powdered Milk business. Having near sent it to the wall by pulling trading stunts it will now offer money to get what it wants and the Chinese will no longer need aggressive syndicates to strip supermarket shelves of baby formula to export back to the mainland.

Let's hope too, that the Foreign Investment Review Board has not been as bowdlerized by The Ruling Rabble as other judicial bodies as to be inadequate to its task.

 

The Inevitable Angel

Corruption is rife in this land, integrity as we used to know it has all but vanished, the MSM looking the other way is too quiet; the ABC has effectively been neutered as the only main source of reliable news and analysis; there is no political opposition to speak of, the Federal Police are tainted politically and the judiciary suspect.

The Born-Again's, and the ideological IPA believe Armageddon is inevitable and they're going to get it via climate change but with the stupidity of The Rabble pretending to lead what is a supine and selfish nation into a period of dissolution we have never experienced before it all has all the auguries for the demise of this country as we have known it.

Well, it's all over, bar the shouting... How Good is that?

The electoral commission had received hundreds of complaints about dodgy political advertising, accepted that 87 were in fact dodgy... and did nothing.... How Good is that?

Labor thinks The New Member for Chisholm Gladys The Caiman, Liu  needs her political advertising dissected... which if Boris the Buffoon in Britain gets lumbered with jail time for his alleged  political  untruths, then Gladys The Caiman might be a little concerned as to her future, too.... How Good is That!

 Uncle Warren Entsch in typical Deep North fashion and as "Reef Envoy" has declared that the Great Barrier Reef doesn't need saving but plastic needs collecting and that children would probably be better off doing that and not suffering "the child abuse" of being "coached" about climate change in their schools... How Good is That?

Killing two birds with one stone,  it seems The Liar From The Shire, Prime Miniature, Scummo, has decided to banish what passes as excuses for moderates in the Ruling Rabble and expel Arfur The Forgetful and Fifi, Slasher Fifield to overseas postings and fill their senate positions with fore-lock tugging right-wingers in the shapes of The Killer of Fallujah, Molan and failed Corangamite candidate Sarah The Mouth, Henderson. Arfah and Fifi will respectively, impersonate roles as Ambassador to Washington and Diplomat to the U.N.

Arfah no doubt will re-exercise his financial expertise to coach President Comb-Over in the Dark Arts of forgetting how your tax affairs and donations are  handled and Fifi will apply his considerable experience in eviscerating public body funding and shifting it to The Ugly American's coffers.... How Good is That?

Sri Lankan "refugees" arrive at Christmas Island..... but their timing was out by a week.... .  Bugger , no wonder they were shifted off , back to whence they came so quickly.... I wonder how much they were paid for this stunt by the Ruling Rabble who do have "form" in that area?

An Ugly American beat-up, a fake news story about Willie Shortstuff's apparently simmering ambitions for leadership is far more interesting than the reality of a Zimmerman-Molan stoush as the Killer of Fallujah fires back that he's not "dishonourable."

Ex Ruling Rabble party president Zimmerman said Molan led a below-the-line campaign which “showed no respect for the democratic process” and as Ruling Rabble hierarchy look to introduce rules to disqualify candidates who "go rogue"...."Killer" denies that he's a rogue and spits another dummy.

Forgiveness in The Liar from the Shire's plastic religion has meant that Stuart, Wanna-Cheap-Rolex? Robert is to return from his Truffle's imposed purgatory to further mal-administer the NDIS, have the taxpayer fund his extraordinary internet fees, and provide remuneration to "independent " candidates at local elections,as you do if as straight as adog's hind leg... he will be joined by rehabilitated estate agent Sussan Whimsy, Ley no doubt looking to further her property portfolio as she sashays about the country perusing waste.

Ignoring the constitution and proselytising about enacting "Religious-Freedom-So-We-Can-Be-Rude-To-Whoever-We Want-Whenever-We-Want", various limited imagination bigots like Ferrari Mussolini Ferravanti  and Hitler-Youth, Look-a-Like Paterson are getting their Rosaries and tithing sheets in a knot as in true IPA logic, they salivate over expanding freedom by diminishing it........How Good is That?

Oh, and not forgetting another IPA "sleeper," Timmy Twat, Ex Freedom Man, newly minted and fatuously self-described as a "Modern Liberal" who sat as quietly as church mouse lest he attract attention when Marcia Langton (QandA, 27-5) excoriated Ruling Rabble ministers who congratulated The Egged-Anning on his racist speech. It is a repeating habit that on real social issues these plastic "freedom warriors" have very little to say. Perhaps, in reality, they just don't care for social justice? How Good is That?
