it's been a couple of weeks of depressing news as we here on Oz are forced to contemplate the policy bereft Ruling Rabble not only stumbling their inept way through the minefield they laid out in expectation of a Labor electoral victory but increasingly doing their faltering best in trashing "Brand Australia" to a saner world's eyes.... the pics this week give architectural equivalence to the prevailing Oz "Kultur" found on a trip to the Fleurieu Peninsular in South Aussie but the landscapes provide what passes for hope for a future.

 Back home from giving another horsy picture book to Betty Windsor and for all the world looking like an over excited bogan school-boy as he did it, the Liar from the Shire, Prime Miniature Happy-Clapper Scummo, Hypocrite in Chief, has had to face up to some unpalatable facts other than his partner's dress sense..

The Economy which he touted during the election campaign as being strong, stable and growing is doing the opposite and sliding inexorably into recession.

Unemployment is rising in place of "jobs, jobs, jobs". Even with the overly generous at 5.4% stats on which the Ruling Rabble rely some analysts place the figure more realistically at double 10.5%....and the further cutting of penalty rates for 800,000 low paid workers whilst giving yourself a 2% pay increase will surely alleviate the floundering retail sector... wont it?

Carbon emission targets which he said  would ".....be met in a canter..." have also gone in the other direction leaving his irrelevant Energy Minister Angsty Taylor with not only Egg on his face but more problems with his $80,000,000.00 worth of non-existent water and to answer the question...just who besides besties banks in the Cayman's?

Providing a possible solution to the water problems was failed real estate entrepreneur and current contemporary manifestation of an Australian Environment minister, Suss Ley who spouted that "...farmers could borrow water from the drought ravaged and cotton drained Murray/Darling River as they need it, as the river and its slowly asphyxiating fish, don't!

How said farmers are to repay on the borrowing was not explained as it was rumoured that Suss was too busy checking mortage rates.

HMAS Perth was not the only one not there to greet three Chinese warships on their milk run into Sydney recently.  It has been dry-docked for two years after an extensive re-fit. Good sailors it seems are awfully hard to impress these days.

The responsible minister at the time, the Pugnacious Payne is now off with foreign affairs and the current excuse for defence minister  Lazy Lindy Reynolds, like most Ruling Rabble apparatchiks when faced with their own incompetence, was "unavailable for comment."

The Chinese, on the other hand, said,  "Ta, for the milk".... and that it was just co-incidental that they arrived unannounced on the anniversary of the Tiananmen Square Massacre.... which never happened!

It is assumed that Mickey The Prince, Pezzullo made the Ruling Rabble's enforcement gang, The Australian Federal Police, an offer they couldn't refuse. So they dropped their investigation into who was named Potato-Head and leaked classified info to the press in order to advantage the Ruling Rabble's electoral chances. Instead, they turned their kinky attentions for seven hours to Ugly American journo Annika Smethurst's home and undies drawer looking for exposed secrets and then to the ABC's Sydney offices. with  a warrant which ominously allowed them to "copy, change, delete or alter" any material they sequestered.

Having not smashed their way in I suppose we can't call it the AFP's  "Kristallnacht" but as the economy falters and the police state grows, an episode like that is probably not too far off.

ABC's Chair, Ita Buttonhole said, "I will fight ..on the beaches...any attempts to muzzle the national broadcaster or interfere with its obligations to the Australian public. Independence is not exercised by degrees. It is absolute." And promptly announced she was going to chat with the other media media players...all two of them, to see what apart from their detestation of the ABC and like the IPA wanting its demise, they had in common.

Feeling safe that the AFP were looking the other way, The Harpy, Cash re-emerged from behind her whiteboard to dementedly squawk, "Jobs mean A.D.A.N.I, Jobs mean A.D.A.N.I.. " a few time before scurrying back to her hairdresser.

And then to show what a united nation we really are, everyone, but everyone spent the week piling into unionist John Setka who allegedly (he denies it)  made heretical comments about the saintly Rosie Batty to add to his list of misdemeanors.

Unfortunately for the mob, Setka is made of sterner stuff than say Sam Dastyari or Emma Husar and is refusing to wilt (as yet) and provide another trophy for the Ruling Rabble's games room.

It is also a question for Flopsy Frydenberg as to whether it is true as Dr. Michael Borga (ex CSIRO) and Prof. Isaac Santos (NationalScience Centre, Coff’s Harbour) allege that research into CSG emissions is being stalled, stymied and blocked and that one of main reasons for the gutting of the climate change section of CSIRO was the NSW Minerals Council?  All of which also neatly falls into the IPA agenda of selling off CSIRO!

Screeching her emphatic, over-enunciated  "answers" at Speers, Cash failed miserably to show that she knew anything at all about the EBA or why the Ruling Rabble Mk2 wanted to change the fair work act. 

Both interviews therefore presented the normal Liarbril Kafka-esque, spin-on-the-spot drivel.

Australian Federal Police have raided the Parliamentary offices of Stephen Conroy, opposition shadow minister for Communication. Much like breaching the "sanctuary" of a church, this act which Truffles-In-a-Muddle has denied was his doing (to protect himself from the fact that he has completely stuffed up the NBN)  is the most blatant breach of Parliamentary Privilege  most can ever remember.  It also brings  new meaning to Copper to the House.
That Truffles-in-a-Muddle is not a particularly savvy political operator has become painfully apparent since he assassinated Rabid-the-Hun and these raids have all the hallmarks of political desperation and the clumsy finesse of the Godwin Grech farce of 2009.  Instead of silencing a whistle-blower, Truffles and the NBN co. have highlighted the very mess they wanted covered up: the fact that Truffles' and Rabid's nobbling of the NBN to satisfy The Ugly American, Murdoch is resulting in a 3rd rate service at more expense than the original Labor, Fibre-to-the-Home model. 

It seems too, that few believe Truffles and many like myself, wonder why the AFP seem to act with such alacrity against Labor figures and then effectively "drag-their-feet" in investigating  an admitted criminal like ChickenThighs Brough and his accomplices Ashby and Pyne-the-Whyne. Or why they haven't moved with more speed on known fraudster Kathy Jackson. 

Corrupt?    What other explanation is there?

So what does all this mean?

It means Democracy is being eroded and the supine public are taking little notice....

First Godwin Grech....then a farce of a AFP raid, now a shambles of a Senate, include poorly misfired thin policy and lackadaisical campaign...and  "Truffles" is not only an incompetent NBN manager but a lousy politician to boot.......which is what his right wing will give him soon.

David Lipson's (ABC Lateline)  smarmy anti labor asides are possibly going to look a bit hollow too after the mess Truffles has made of this election; 

but  I can just imagine this segue from Alberici,      "Well David, Turnball has made a mess of this hasn't he?  " Well, Emma," replies Lipson, "I think Shorten's attempt to eat a Hot-dog from the middle is a more glaring example of incompetence that has labor numbers men toting up for a spill."

Or some such other rubbish this Liarbril Lite pretty boy will make up.

And just how rude will Leigh sales be now? I suppose we'll only have to glance at a trashy cartoonish headline from the "Scum" to see where she will follow.

Early in the evening during the election broadcast I was looking at the performances of Sales, Uhlmann and Crabb and also noting not only the growing number of seats that were falling to Labor, and with Penny Wong who was being ignored by this self absorbed trio, sensed that "something is up here" but this panel kept blithely brown-nosing Scummo and often interrupting and ignoring Wong until : Bang: 1,2,3, Tassie seats had gone, then suddenly they were all at sea having to deal with a reality that was way out of their comfort zones. They never recovered and their bias' took a battering for the rest of the night.

Truffles is miffed that no-one believed him over his promise not to privatize  Medicare. It was, perhaps, just too soon after "The GST is dead and Buried," There'll be no cuts to Health, Education, no cuts to the ABC,"etc  for anyone to believe Mr Harborside Mansion this time around.

He took particularly virulent umbrage at a phone text which he alleges wrongly claims to be from Medicare so when all else had failed....He called the cops!

Now this is becoming a problem in itself... AFP raid opposition premises at start of the election over "leaked" NBN docs. AFP seem, on the other hand to be dragging their feet over an admission of criminality of Chicken Thighs Brough and similarly over Kathy Jacksons $1.5,000,000.00 "travel bonus" from HSU.

It is looking very much like you don't have to ask if the AFP is corrupt .... but just how corrupt?

Incompetent Attorney General, Georgie Bookshelves Brandis has finished this term of Parliament much as he started it.  Perverting the law of the land. First he gets a release for Bloody Idiot Credlin (Rabid-the-Hun's  dominatrix) from a drink driving charge that would have most of us lose their license for around six months and now he has ordered, quite wrongly, that any legal advise about the hung parliament and related matters must go through him only and not the Solicitor General!

Liarbril handing out HTV on booth I was on was verbally, roughly handled... the pity was he actually knew nothing of any of the policies he was supposedly supporting, so couldn't  understand the criticisms of them.

He was nonplussed when a pensioner handing out Greens HTV said, "I'll die if they put up the cost of medicines as I wont be able to afford them." And another Green, ' Yes, we've got the new Copper from the node. It even buffers watching a You-tube video and we're three houses from the node. The copper can't cope even with that!"  He then tackled me on supporting Medicare by asking, "When did you take up that stance, a month ago when Shorten announced his "scare" campaign?"  "No," I replied, "40 years ago when Malcolm Fraser was doing the same as Turnbull!

He became much quieter after that.

Well, there ya go Possums, it looks like a hung parliament or possibly a Liarbril wafer thin majority .

 I would actually prefer the latter, just  to see how "agile and innovative" the ruling rabble's "JobsanGrowth" begins to look when around 200,000 hit the unemployment queues in 2017. The mongrels have nothing in place.  No policy, no plan... again, just hollow rhetoric. Then we'll see just how "Shoulder-to-Shoulder" the member for Corangamite is with her constituents.

A special thanks must go the Le Jongleur Roskam and the other clowns at the IPA circus (The-Coots-With-Queer-Ideas-From-a-Parallel-Universe)  for making this Liarbril implosion possible.

So with week three of the election campaign about to kick off in what might be a more nasty mode, if week two's fiery end was anything to go by.... Malcon "Truffles" Turdball is losing ground as preferred PM and the polls are slightly favouring Labor.. (except in the Deep North where everything is odd) which is something most people thought impossible just 6 months ago.

"Truffles" has made himself as morally and ethically bankrupt as the "Reclaim Australia" and "Patriot Front" turds by supporting "Dodo" Dutton's appalling "dog-whistle" about the costs of attending to the needs of the refugees incarcerated in the concentration camps of Nauru and Manus Island. What was intended for diverting public attention from the deepening economic crisis the ruling rabble are creating was a deplorably sad and inhumane rant about their levels  of literacy and numeracy and how they will be taking all our jobs AND relying on welfare to boot!  Just another rung down in the pantheon of Liarbril racism, xenophobia and tasteless mongrelism that has afflicted this party since Little Johnnie dis-endorsed Pauline "Please Explain."  Rather than shut her down the Liarbrils eventually took on her attitude and fanned the flames of racist bigotry.

It is being said that this little piece of "theatre-of-cruelty" was a concoction of their election strategist Mark Textor;  a "dead-cat" distraction, perhaps like "ute-gate" in 2010?

Although apparently going down well with the "great-unwashed" and bogan's who listen to the shock jocks, there were many more that found this now normal behaviour from the right, utterly disgusting and repulsive.

May Mr.Textor have all the success his business had in the recent Canadian elections.

Congratulations must go to Richard Marles (even though his stance on refugees is not much better than the Liarbrils) for "keeping-his-cool" under the waspish rantings and interruptions of the shrewish Leigh Sales. In that particular session the ABC's apology for an interviewer, was certainly wearing her tinny IPA/LNP heart on her sleeve for all to see.

Then, the following night, as he is being "interviewed" on 7:30 Report (being ranted at too,  having his answers cut off and at times, interrupted, by both Sales and the robotic "Horse-Shite" Cormann), Sales announces to Tony Burke that the AFP are raiding a Labor staffers home and the offices of Senator Conroy, (Opposition Communication Minister). Apparently looking for NBN documents which had been leaked in February and which Conroy was not allowed to tender in parliament. This was around 7:40pm whilst the "Ferals" were still sitting in their cars waiting for the staffers to return home... film crews were in attendance at this "secret" raid, too.  Hmmmm.... political street theatre?

Truffles maintained he and the ruling rabble knew nothing about the raid. "Bookshelves" Brandis, Plastic Attorney General was keeping a low profile as he genuinely knows nothing but Comms. minister Fifield admitted next day that he knew about it but didn't tell anyone...yeah Possums, right!

AFP also had a "special constable" a staff member from the NBN there to photograph documents from the Labor Party's NBN policy.

It is being said that NBN have secretly re-trialled the Labor original fibre to the home again (which was being deployed before this incompetent mongrel cabal were elected) and have apparently found its implementation far easier and cheaper than Truffles' third rate fibre to the node and copper to the home, mish-mash of slow technologies.

AFP didn't think that "Kero" Bronnie's  $5000.00 helicopter flight was worth investigating after the public servant, Jane Halton who ("managed" the calumnies of "Rottweiller" Reith's "Children Overboard") told them there was "nothing-to-see-here"....and they didn't worry after The Defence White Paper was leaked to Liarbril favoured news sources either....and we are still waiting for them to investigate Kathy Jackson's alleged misappropriation of millions in union funds with her squeeze Michael Lawler, as well as Mal "Chicken Legs" Brough who admitted on TV, asking Ashby to copy Slippery Pete's diary (a criminal offence) as well as Chwissie "the Whyne" Pyne's involvement is the Slipper affair.

Agriculture Minister, "Barnyard" Joyce has urged dairy farmers to go to the competition watchdog ACCC with concerns over recent milk price cuts. He can't do anything as he's only the agriculture minister and believes in the free-market system....which is why when he came back from China and the "Free-Trade-Deals" told them to ramp up production and make gazillions. Pity that the Chinese have pulled the pin on that!

Don't those who vote "National" realize they are supporting the system that is cruelling their futures?

I said more than three years ago before these mongrels were elected that A/ they had no policy framework, except the IPA wish list, B/ they were liars and were, C/ incompetent.. all of which, sadly, has been shown, time and again, to be accurate.

The deficit has doubled (but there's no "budget emergency" now), unemployment has increased for full-time work and our trade figures are appalling. Manufacturing and the Arts have been gutted, Medicare is under the most severe threat, wages are down, conditions are actually being eroded and education from primary to tertiary is being bowdlerised back to the C19th. Egalitarianism has been submerged under the deadliness of selfish "Aspiration" with the subsequent corruption of political life. Donations from foreign countries, particularly China;  from dodgy lawyers and developers are growing each year and placing our democracy in a parlous state.

It now remains to be seen during week three what Textor concocted "confection of a disaster" will befall Labour on Wednesday or Thursday of the week and reach full crescendo in the rancid week-end rags of the "Ugly American" Murdoch.  Which of the seeds already planted will be further harvested and embellished?  

Although petals, I have a sneaking suspicion that the stench of funk and the fear of oblivion is permeating the Liarbril's tatty ranks. They may well become more extreme and socially divisive but as they alienate increasing numbers of the moderate electorate they will Saturn-like in their panic, turn on and devour each other....after all, destruction is really what they're best at!

All is not quite lost, just yet.
